Announcements
01/02/2020 - Due to the WH virus outbreak, 10 Feb, 17 Feb, 24 Feb lectures teaching will be conducted online.
07/02/2020 - Log onto this page (at home), and conduct on-line learning during your scheduled lecture period.

Online (virtual) Classroom - Google Meet
- You need a Google account to enter. Compatible Devices: PC/Mac/Chrome OS/iPad/iPhone/Android
- Now the upgraded version can hold 150 students (max) in one classroom.
- For iPhone/Android users, download and install the app "Google Meet" beforehand
- Do not enter the classroom before the scheduled time: every Monday 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
- You should attend the online lecture for the first half hour at least, in order get all important announcements.
- When you enter the classroom, make sure you switch off the camera and mic first.

Online Test Instructions - read this before you start the test.
- STEP 1 - Join the meeting at the scheduled time. Be punctual. I will explain everything to you before test starts.
- Download the test_2_questions file. NO need to print out the question paper.
- STEP 2 - Test duration: 1 hr 30 min. 12:45 - 2:15pm. Open book test.
- Do your test on sheets of blank A4 paper (single side). Prepare some paper ready before the test.
- Remember to put your name, student number, and page number on the top of each page.
- STEP 3 - When you finish, before 3:15pm use your mobile phone to take a picture of your test answer script.
- Upload your files to my server. Upload link: <click here>.
- Name your jpg or pdf file(s) as your name (e.g. ChanDaiMan1.pdf)
- REPORT ON CHEATING: NO communication among students during test. Report cheating hotline <click here>
- Report on cheating: you will be rewarded with extra marks, taken away from the cheater.
- CANNOT ATTEND THE TEST: Send me a email explaining why, at least 24 hrs before the test.

Case Study and Report - same group membership as Project Groups
- Investigate on one example of digital control (e.g. plane, car, elevator, robot, manufacturing, home appliance, etc.)
- Must focus on the application aspect. Do not focus on text book content of digital control theory.
- Submit 4 pages (maximum) report. One report per group. No need for project presentation.
